The Apartment Association Outreach Story
The Apartment Association Outreach is a 501(c)3, non-profit charitable organization. OUTREACH was originally founded in 1991 to provide clothing and household items to families in need. Each year we hold 3 fundraisers to support 6 programs, to provide basic needs and emergency assistance to families and individuals in crisis. We partner with 4 social services across the Greater Cincinnati area: Freestore Foodbank, CAIN (Churches Active in Northside), Jewish Family Service, and Santa Maria Community Services. They are able to identify the problem areas and help the individual or family gain stability through education, training, and often, case management.
Our 5K 4 Rent, presented by Jetz Service
Our 5k 4 Rent event raises funds for our Rental Assistance Program. Every month, families and individuals suffer financial hardships and are unable to pay their rent. We help them stay in their rental homes by hosting a fun and enjoyable 5k event each year. Take part in a gratifying morning with your friends, family and co-workers, and support a good cause.
Registration
Through Race Day (shirt guaranteed if registered by April 11)
$40 - Timed run, includes unisex, soft style tee shirt if registered by April 11th.
For the duration of online registration, kids 10 and under are free (not timed, no shirt included, not considered for age group awards).

Awards
Tri State Running has generously donated gift certificates for the following:
$75 - 1st place male/female
$50 - 2nd place male/female
$35 - 3rd place male/female
*Those 10 and under do not qualify for age group awards, as they register for free. If your child is 10 or younger and would like to qualify for age group awards, please register them using the paid regisration option.
Schedule
Shirt pick up is available Thursday, April 25 from 9am to 4pm at Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association located at 7265 Kenwood Rd, Cincinnati OH 45236.
Race day registration shirt pick up begins at 8am.
Race begins at 9am.
Awards begin at approximately 9:45am
Parking
Parking is available at TM Berry International Friendship Park and adjacent Montgomery Inn Boathouse.
Post race
Grab and go breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and water will be available after the race.
Results
Results will post when you finish on the race website.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, pandemic, or for any other reason deemed necessary by timing company, race organizers, public safety officials, or anyone else in charge, we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if possible, cancel the race, or convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds and race items will not be mailed.
